About Me
Hi, I’m Amber.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a practice in McLean, Virginia — licensed in both Maryland and Virginia. I work with adolescents, young adults, and adults, offering individual therapy and parent support across in-person and telehealth settings.
With background in outpatient mental health and a private-school setting, I specialize in supporting students and families navigating ADHD, anxiety, school performance, and social relationships. I also work closely with young adults in transition and parents seeking guidance, and frequently collaborate with other professionals on a client’s care team.

Care That Fits You.
Therapy works best when it’s tailored to you — not a fixed protocol. I bring together evidence-based methods, a holistic lens, and genuine collaboration to create a space where real change can happen.
Evidence-Informed
I draw on approaches with strong research backing and adapt them to what actually fits you — not the other way around.
Modalities
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
- Psychodynamic Therapy
- Motivational Interviewing
- Humanistic Therapy
Person-Centered
You set the pace and the direction. My role is to follow your lead, reflect back what I notice, and trust that you already hold a lot of the answers.
Holistic Therapy
Struggles rarely have a single cause. I look at the whole picture — your history, relationships, body, and context — to understand what’s driving what you’re experiencing.
Collaborative Care
When it serves you, I coordinate with teachers, psychiatrists, and other providers on your care team — so the people in your corner are working together.
